Thursday January 17th – Set up for Pack Pinewood Derby – First Baptist Church - Pre Check in for Scouts to have their cars checked for possible needed adjustments should start around 6:30 pm. There is not a formal meeting this night so no need for Class A uniforms. We tentatively hope to start setting up the track around 5:00 and have it ready for test runs only by 6:30. If you’re able to come help with set up please come help us. The track needs to be set up so we can make sure it’s level and that the timer & computer are working before Scouts can test their cars. We do not have the timer running when they test their cars and they cannot test them against another car. We also need help with decorations, and putting up the safety wall & chairs. Many hands make light the work.
Friday January 18th – Pack Pine Wood Derby – First Baptist Church - Registration will start at 5:00, opening Ceremonies will be at 6:30 followed by the Pine Wood Derby Race at 7:00. We will be selling food for a nominal fee before & during the race. What: Join us for a fun day Hiking along the Bushkill trail in Forks Township. This trail for walkers and bicyclists stretches from Tatamy all the way to the Route 33 Boat Launch on the Lehigh River. We’ll walk two level miles on the most northern section. If the weather is really cold, we have the option of stopping for pizza in the middle of our hike. The former Northern and Eastern Railroad line used to travel on this part of the Two Rivers Trailway. This hike is appropriate for children of all ages. Its smooth surface is stroller- and wheelchair-friendly. Dogs on leash are welcome. Bring your camera/binoculars to view the wonders of winter as we stroll through quaint areas of Tatamy.
Remember to dress for the weather, come out & join us for a fun walk along the Bushkill Creek in Tatamy Pa.

Friday February 22, 2019 – Blue & Gold Banquet & AOL Crossing Over Ceremony – First Baptist Church, doors open at 5:00 pm - The Blue & Gold Banquet is a Birthday Celebration for Scouting. We combine our Blue & Gold Banquet with our Crossing over Ceremony. The Cross over is where current AOL’s cross over into Boy Scouts. There will be games and activities for the Scouts to play after the dinner & Crossing Over Ceremony. Friday March 1st & Saturday March 2nd - Our Pack will again be hosting the South Mountain District Pinewood Derby Race at First Baptist Church. Set up will be the evening of Friday March 1st around 5:00 (decorating, setting up the track, seating, kitchen, etc.). Saturday will be the race, for those helping in the morning in the Kitchen & with the Race please plan to arrive by 6:00 am. Doors open at 7:00 for pre-race registration & check in. New this year….. We will be hosting a “Run what you Bring” event after the District Race. We’re doing this as an additional District wide Recruiting Event but it is open to anyone who wants to build or bring a car (even a Scout who didn’t qualify for the District Race can bring their car and run it). We’re asking all our Pack 346 Scouts, and their families, to PLEASE let your friends who aren’t in Scouting, and might be interested in joining, know about this event. There will not be trophies for this event, but we will have prizes to hand out to anyone who comes to check out Scouting and sign up. There will be more details about the “Run what you Bring” event forth coming, this part of the day is still in the planning stages and being worked out with District & Council representatives. We hope to make it a successful Recruiting event for our Pack.

Friday, May 17 – Check In and setup for Family Cub Scout Packs, Scouting, BSA Troops and Venturing Crews camping begins at 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 18 – Opening Ceremonies begin at 8:45 a.m. Open program between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Lunch scheduled from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. Program areas remain open during lunch. Dinner between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. with a special evening program scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 19 – Church Services and Mass will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by designated area clean up and campsite cleanup.
For Weekend Pass camping, JAMBO 2019 will be divided into three large sub-camps. Scouting, BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, and Cub Scout Family Camping will all have their own large designated camping areas. All camping will have some space requirements and all areas will be assigned by the Jambo Campmasters. Informational packets will be sent to all registered.
For Day Pass participants, Jambo 2019 affords you and your family full Saturday access, without having to camp overnight.
