First Baptist Church Trunk or Treat

First Baptist Church’s Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat – Come help us support and help out our Chartering Organization and have some fun at the same time.  Scouts can help out our Chartering Organization by helping with set up & clean up before and after the event, and run games during.  They will also be able to participate as well.  Fun Family Friendly Costumes and Decorations.  Food and games for all ages.  The Pack will have either a Trunk (weather permitting) or a table (if we’re in the Gym) set up with information about the Pack.  If anyone has an idea for Scout themed Decorations and/or a game that would be great.  We’d also like to hand out Candy too.  Sign up to help with decoration & game ideas, candy or to help out the Church or the Pack during the event.  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508084FA5A92DA5F94-pack2

Scouting for Food Door Hangers & Food Collection

Saturday November 3rd – 8:00 am - Meet in the Rear Parking Lot of Miller Heights Elementary School for Scouting for Food.  Scouts (and Parents) will be given a map with an area to cover not too far from Miller Heights. This is one of the BSA's biggest events and it directly helps our community. Dress in Class A Uniform with layers underneath and comfy shoes. It may be chilly to start. If enough Scouts participate we can buddy up so things go faster.

Saturday November 10th – Meet in the Rear Parking Lot of Miller Heights Elementary School – 8:00 - Dressed in Class A Uniforms, Scouts along with their parents will drive through the surrounding neighborhoods collecting any donations that were left out for us.  Then everyone will return to First Baptist Church where we will sort and box up all food. The food will then be donated to a local food Pantry in Bethlehem.  We've donated to Trinity Lutheran Church in the past and may do so again this year.  We're still waiting for approval from Pastor Miller the District Chair for Scouting for Food.  Drivers will be needed to help take the food over to the food bank.  We also need good sized sturdy boxes or bags to sort donations into.
